Jacob Frothingham
Labyrinth is a journey through logic, structure, and self-discovery. Growing up, school—especially math and science—shaped much of my identity. I dedicated myself to mastering complex subjects in pursuit of a clear, conventional future. Eventually, I realized that path wasn’t mine—but my passion for the precision and problem-solving of STEM never left.

This collection translates that mindset into fashion. Instead of solving equations, I create garments through experimental patternmaking and architectural silhouettes. A minimal palette of black, grey, and brown reflects the restrained, analytical lens I once viewed the world through.

Labyrinth brings together the logical and the creative—two sides of my identity that have often felt at odds. It also speaks to the broader experience of navigating societal expectations, especially when your identity doesn’t fit the mold. These pieces—explore what it means to find your own direction through the maze.
