What Do You Do? is a personal exploration of how
labor, gender, and identity intersect in everyday life.
Growing up, I often noticed how the question “What
do you do?” carried weight—especially in Western
culture, where work is seen as a primary marker
of identity. This collection challenges that idea by
blending traditionally masculine workwear with
androgynous, gender-neutral design.

Each look represents a different kind of worker—
blue-collar, creative, corporate—not to define iden-
tity, but to question why we so often let it. Using
fabrics like duck canvas and silhouettes inspired by
brands like Carhartt and Dickies, I aim to disrupt
expectations and highlight the legitimacy of both
traditional and nontraditional roles. What Do You
Do? invites us to think beyond the job title and see
identity as fluid, layered, and deeply personal.
