Industry Media & Photography Policy
Buffalo State RUNWAY is a professionally produced student fashion event. To ensure a high-quality experience for our guests, designers, and partners, all media access is managed and approved in advance.
Official Event Coverage
RUNWAY has an official team of photographers and videographers assigned to capture the event.

Only authorized media personnel will have access to designated media areas, including the press pit.

Official event imagery will be shared following the event via RUNWAY’s social media platforms and marketing channels.
Media Access & Credentials
Members of the press and media outlets are welcome to cover RUNWAY.
To request access, all media representatives must:

Complete the Media Access Request Form (linked below)

Receive confirmation and approval prior to the event
Upon arrival, approved media must:

Check in at the main entrance

Obtain and visibly wear a media pass at all times
Please note: Submission of the form does not guarantee approval or press pit access.
Photographers & Videographers (Designer-Affiliated)
Photographers or videographers working directly with student designers must also request access in advance via the Media Access Request Form.
Approval is limited and based on capacity.
Important Guidelines:

Press pit placement is not guaranteed

Backstage access is strictly prohibited

Media does not have access to the Bengala event
Event Conduct & Guest Experience
All media personnel are expected to operate with professionalism and respect for the event environment.

Do not block aisles, seating areas, or guest views

Remain within designated media zones

Minimize equipment footprint to essential gear only
RUNWAY reserves the right to restrict or remove access for any individual not complying with these guidelines.
General Photography Policy (Guests & Non-Credentialed Individuals)

Non-credentialed photography must remain unobtrusive

Flash photography and professional equipment are discouraged in seating areas

Any individual interfering with the event or guest experience may be asked to stop or leave
