Dominican Beauty is a celebration of layered identity—an

expression of what it means to be Dominican American

and proud. To me, intersectional identity means carrying

many truths at once: being a woman, an artist, and a

product of both Dominican culture and American influ-

ence. This collection honors all those layers by blending tradition with modernity, nostalgia with bold self-expression.

Inspired by Dominican culture and the textures of my

childhood, I use vibrant colors, mixed media, and 3D ele-

ments to create a sensory experience. From dominos—cen-

tral to family gatherings—to candy wrappers and memo-

ries of shared meals, these pieces are rooted in home. The

silhouettes and styling also bring in American streetwear

influences, reimagined through the lens of Caribbean joy

and beauty.

Dominican Beauty is more than a fashion line—it’s a love

letter to culture, color, memory, and the unique beauty that

comes from embracing all parts of who we are.
